Back To School

Now that it is August it is back to school time. School will be starting in about 3 weeks here and many places after Labor Day. My kids are still little and keep asking excitedly how many days left. I decided to make a homemade count down calender. We counted the days left. Next we cut an equal number of colored paper in half. We used construction paper, you use what you have on hand. After that write a number on each half paper starting with one and go up. A sharpie pen works well. Then I had my kids decorate the paper halves with crayons, stickers, whatever you have. Then staple the papers together and attach to a wall with tape or put a magnet on the back and put it on your frig. Now you have a fun count down calender!
